Although “catchy” is not usually what I shoot for (at least not deliberately), it’s certainly not a bad thing. In any case, part of the point of ATW11 is to experiment with a bunch of different ideas, including some that I might not usually have in mind when sitting down to pen a new song. The goal is to expand the boundaries of songwriting, and hopefully incorporate some new tools and techniques into the ones that I started with in January.

the rythym sounds familiar, but I really like it. I know you proabably dont want to hear this, but its catchy. I can see myself humming this tune and not even realizing it

Syd Holden will ride again! I’m thinking maybe a sequel to “Matthew Hopkins”, or a full-blown rock opera. I’ll get Apocalypse to do some crunchy guitar work “in the cloud”.
